There are only three days left to watch one of actor Mark Wahlberg 's most intense films on the streaming platform Netflix. This war drama, based on true events, was nominated for an Oscar for its impeccable soundtrack and starkly recreates one of the U.S. Army's most failed operations in Afghanistan.

The film is inspired by the infamous Operation Red Wings , carried out in June 2005 by an elite squad of Navy SEALs . The objective was to neutralize a Taliban leader hiding in the Afghan mountains. What began as a reconnaissance mission turned into a deadly ambush, leaving in its wake one of the greatest tactical tragedies of the war.
